Introduction

Apartment Turnovers (ATI) was built from the ground up as a full service company that provides apartment and property managers with a one-call turnover service solution for all their apartment turnover and renovation service needs. The Position

The Account Manager will report to ATIs Director of Operations, located at the Rockville headquarters. This is an individual producer role and will be responsible for generating sales from new current and new customers. 

Primary Role (Summary): Develop and maintain positive and profitable relationships with all existing client centers of influence within assigned territory; new and existing clients. Expand client relationships by growing services per unit / property; growing revenue. Provide pricing for standard turn over services at existing client properties. Client retention.

Secondary Support Role: Support Business Development Manager, ATI office and ATI Operations staff with development of new client relationships. Assist BD manager with new client pricing, as needed.

Primary Responsibilities include:

– Develop and Execute Sales Route: Develop and execute standard sales route weekly per stop requirements. Maintain sales database to reflect all efforts.
– Generate Revenue: Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas for specific / preselected property management companies as outlined in ATI system – achieve sales territory goals by increasing revenue per client. Provide existing client standard turn over service pricing.
– Onboard New Clients: Assist Business Development manager with the successful onboarding of clients per company new client onboarding policy – including the 90-day new client program.
– In Process Job Management / Oversight: Monitor and communicate with territory field operations manager (FOM) to remain updated on existing client jobs, pricing, use rate and any issues.
– Accounting Assistance: As needed, assist accounting department with collection process of accounts in your area as outlined in company collection policies and procedures.
– Marketing Business Plan: Remain compliant and participate in the ATI marketing business plan, assist Business Development Manager with implementation as needed, understand and maximize your territory strategic goals to advance the Company’s objectives and to promote growth and profitability.
– Self-Generated Revenue: Assist the Business Development manager and/or self-generate profitable new client revenue for the Company. Develop and cultivate client relationships by meeting with clients, conducting presentations and establishing and maintaining key referral relationships within the industry.
– Marketing: Communicate & establish rapport with property managers, maintenance staff and owners through route sales, industry events, industry groups and CE / educational seminars. Assist Business Development manager as needed with online and print advertising, social media, monthly newsletters, Lunch & Learn trainings, etc.

Requirements for this Role:

– Current US Citizen OR you currently have employment authorization to work in the United States
– Valid US Driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Geographically located within the Wash DC Metro Region
– Demonstrated account manager related experience, multiple customer meetings per day and a track record of revenue growth from current customers.
– Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field.
– 2+ years in an external sales/client management role (routes/offsite meetings).
– Demonstrated understanding of the basic sales cycle and process.
– Demonstrated experience or knowledge of “up-selling”
– Demonstrated experience with conflict resolution – solution-based approach with clients and coworkers.
– Experience working in a conducive team environment with external operations staff to achieve common goal.
– Interpersonal skills must include the ability to quickly build rapport with clients in a fast paced highly competitive environment.
– Demonstrated experience with route sales including data entry into CRM system.
– Demonstrated experience maintaining high count client base

Compensation for ATI’s Account Manager

This is a performance/rewards role. Total compensation is base salary plus performance bonus.
Annual base salary range: $60K-$70K
On Target performance bonus: $5K – $10K
Total On Target Earnings Range: $65K – $80K
Base salary paid weekly.
Performance bonus paid quarterly.
